The Puklavec family’s passion for winemaking in Slovenia began in 1934 when Martin Puklavec envisioned crafting exceptional wines together. This philosophy still guides the family in wine production today. The Puklavec Family wines are born from core values: passion, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to quality. Tatjana Puklavec, alongside her family and winegrowers, proudly upholds the vision of her grandfather and father.
The Jeruzalem Ormož wines are crafted in the heart of the Ljutomer–Ormož vineyards, nestled within the Podravje wine region of northeastern Slovenia. This region boasts an ideal microclimate for grape growing, making it perfect for producing fresh, fruity, and aromatic white wines. Our vineyards cover a total of 470 hectares. Carefully sculpted terraces stretch from hill to hill, bathing the grapes in sunlight, while the cool nights provide a natural refresh. Nestled between 250 and 350 metres, these vineyards enjoy a temperate 10.9 C on average and are graced with over 2,000 hours of sunshine annually.
